To rent with HADOM you must:

• Be at least 25 years old.
  
• Hold a valid driver’s license recognized in Florida, valid for the entire rental period.
• Present a government-issued photo ID (passport or ID).
  
• Use a credit or debit card in the primary driver’s name for the authorization hold and charges.

All validation and contract signatures are completed online before delivery; at handover we simply verify that the documents match you.

At the start of the rental we place an authorization hold of USD 500 per vehicle on your credit or debit card, as specified in the rental agreement.
This is a temporary hold, not a charge. Once the vehicle is returned in line with the contract and there are no additional charges (damage, violations, late fees), the hold is released by your card issuer. The timing of release depends on your bank, not HADOM.

Contact us before your scheduled return time via phone or message (WhatsApp or the contact details in your confirmation).

• We check availability of your current Mercedes-Benz or a similar model.
• If we confirm the extension, we update your rental agreement and may refresh the card authorization hold if needed.
• Do not simply keep the car longer without confirmation: that is treated as a late return and contractual late-return fees can apply.

• More than 24 hours before the start time
  • You can modify or cancel by phone or message.
  • Date/time or vehicle changes are subject to availability and may adjust the rate.
  • For cancellations, we issue a rental credit for future bookings instead of a cash refund, unless your specific offer states otherwise.
• Within 24 hours of the start time
  • We will still assist you, but change or cancellation fees may apply under the service charge provisions of the rental agreement.
  • Last-minute changes are always subject to fleet availability.

Sometimes yes.

• If you want to return your Mercedes more than 24 hours earlier than scheduled, please inform us at least 24 hours before the new return time.
• If you return the vehicle more than 24 hours early without prior notice, the contract allows HADOM to apply an Early Return Fee (currently up to USD 300) and to adjust the rate structure of your rental.
• Early returns generally do not generate cash refunds for unused days. In some cases we may offer a credit; this is handled case by case.

The safest rule: if your plans change, call us first, then drive to the handover point.

No. Your HADOM rate includes:

• Your first full tank of fuel, and
• Return without refuelling.
  

If you need to refuel during your trip, simply:

• Use the fuel type indicated in the car and at the fuel cap.

Never mix fuels (for example, diesel in a gasoline engine). Misfuelling is considered improper use and any resulting damage is your responsibility under the rental agreement.

HADOM offers unlimited mileage within the State of Florida.
We do not charge per mile when you drive inside Florida.
Driving the vehicle outside Florida without written authorization is a prohibited use under the contract and may trigger additional charges, recovery costs, and loss of coverage.

We accept major credit and debit cards (such as Visa, Mastercard and American Express) for:

• Reservation payment, and
• The USD 500 authorization hold at vehicle handover.
  

Cards must allow online and international transactions. At this time we do not work with cash-only rentals.

Your HADOM rate is designed to be truly all-inclusive on the essentials:

• First full tank of fuel.
• SunPass toll transponder, with toll usage included in your rate inside Florida.
• Unlimited miles within Florida.
• Mandatory local surcharges already built into your final price (rental surcharge, tire and battery fee, airport concession recovery fee, road tax, rental facility fee, etc.).

You do not pay extra for:

• Refuelling at return.
• Standard toll usage on Florida highways.
• Hidden “facility” or “concession” fees at the counter.
  

What is not included: parking fees, toll violations, traffic tickets, towing/impound costs, cleaning beyond normal use, and any damage or contractual penalties.

HADOM operates under a “Transparent Protection” model:

• You drive primarily with your own coverage:
  • Your personal or corporate auto policy, and/or
  • Your credit card’s rental-car benefits.
• We do not sell generic “full coverage” packages at the counter.
• Our commercial policy provides the legal framework required in Florida, while the rental agreement clearly states what your insurer covers and what you personally assume.

What this means for you:

• Before your trip, confirm with your insurer / credit card that:
  • Rental cars in Florida are covered,
  • Physical damage to the vehicle and liability limits are adequate, and
  • Deductibles are acceptable to you.
• In case of an incident, you authorize HADOM to work directly with your insurer. If there is a gap or denial of coverage, you are responsible for the amounts outlined in the agreement.

Clarity first, no “mystery insurance” at the desk.

Yes, but only if they are properly added as Additional Drivers.

• Additional drivers must meet the same requirements as the main renter (age, license, ID).
• They must be disclosed to HADOM in advance and sign the rental record as Additional Drivers.
• An additional driver fee may apply per person, depending on the case.

If someone who is not listed and signed drives the vehicle, this is considered prohibited use under the contract. You remain fully responsible for all consequences, and coverage may not respond.

Standard HADOM rentals are designed for travel within Florida:

• You may drive freely and with unlimited mileage anywhere in the State of Florida.
  
• Taking the vehicle outside Florida (to another state or country, by ferry, etc.) is not allowed unless you have explicit written authorization from HADOM.

Driving outside Florida without authorization is a violation of the rental agreement and may result in:

• Immediate termination of the rental,
• Costs of vehicle recovery, and
• Additional charges and loss of coverage.

HADOM offers two USD-based membership programs for frequent Mercedes drivers:

• HADOM Core (open to all clients)
  • You earn 5% of the net amount of each completed rental as a credit in USD.
  • Credits can be applied as a direct discount on future bookings.
  • They do not expire as long as you complete at least one rental every 12 months; if not, the balance is frozen and can be reactivated with your next rental.
• HADOM Lineage (for Mercedes-Benz owners)
  • You qualify by proving ownership of a Mercedes-Benz vehicle (registration and, if needed, photos).
  • You earn 7.5% of the net rental amount as USD credit on each completed rental.
  • The rules on validity, use and reactivation are the same as HADOM Core.

In both cases:

• Credits are non-transferable,
• Not convertible into cash, and
• Cannot be combined with other promotions unless explicitly stated in an offer.
